4 years gone, still use it?

I Just ordered my first replacement neck for a tele. I'm replacing a 7.25 with a 9.50. After acquiring a few skills and a discerning eye, I'm no longer star struck by the 'Wall of guitars" at my local music store.

I gave my older brother his first guitar 6 months ago. He just had this exact model, in this color delivered from the factory yesterday. 3 days from ordered to delivered. I may have created another addict. LOL! Does this make me a pusher?

I like the idea of these compared to the latest P90 Special. I prefer the batwing guard and the late 60s style neck joint.

A musical instrument is absolutely a style thing too. Like the clothes you're wearing, especially for gigging musicians. Guitars and basses happen to be more than other instruments because you actually wear them on you.

I am watching now. It was early in the morning for our time-zone. Thinking about buying RG5320C-DFM Ibanez this september, weighs like 3.6-3.7 kgs, really loved it when in store, the sparkly blue finish, also white sparkly finish is cool too... What do you think about them?? Cheers!

How is the intonation

I bought one about 3-4 years ago. Back then they cost about $500-650, then a sudden price jump to $1300!!! They come with JJ EL34's. I bought some vintage EL34's to see if they improved the sound, and they didn't. I took them out and forgot about it, went to play it today and power tubes I couldn't find them so I had some modern Mullard EL34's, put those in and WOW! Now it sounds way better than it did. Highly recommend switching to those tubes. They are cathode biased, so you can use several several different power tubes. Haven't tried that, but am sticking with the Mullards. Yeah, they are pretty loud even on low power. The best speakers to use are 25 watt Greenbacks, you get the full-on early British Clapton sound with those speakers.

Interesting stuff, thank you for the review mister Tony. But aren´t most guitar players into the so-called "relic" style guitars, with ALOT of wear, scratches and dings ? Some of those "relics" cost thousands of dollars more than a brand new guitar. LOL

This couldnt come at a better time! I sent my MINT CONDITION Ibanez RG5EX1 (in Grey ) to my local luthier for an adjustment and got it back with the back cover missing and looking like it had been "KEYED" with TWO, big, ugly slices across the back! I was able to go onto Reverb and find an OEM back plate (@ $30!!) I'm so pissed off!!!
